Goat Milk Soap

Goat Milk Soap - What's the Big Deal?

If you’ve never heard of goat milk soap or you don’t know why it’s better for your skin than regular soap you are in for a treat.

Goat’s milk contains vitamin A, E, and B vitamins including B6, B12 and riboflavin. So, you can think of goat’s milk as a multi-vitamin for your skin. It not only makes your skin healthier but it can prevent acne and premature aging. Caprylic acid, an antimicrobial, is also found in goat's milk and it is one of the best exfoliators known in the skincare industry. The oil molecules in goat’s milk are much smaller than those of most plant oils like coconut or palm and can penetrate the upper and middle skin layers more easily. Goat’s milk is also pH balanced to closely match your skin, protecting it from invading bacteria and chemicals.

It’s not surprising that goat’s milk soap is known to improve a variety of skin conditions such as: acne, psoriasis, and eczema, as well as helping people with dry or sensitive skin. Goat milk soap is less allergenic than synthetically loaded commercial soaps and detergents and can reduce skin inflammation, and soothe dry or damaged skin. Because goat milk soap is such a great exfoliator, it can reduce wrinkles and delay signs of skin aging.
